Whenever you log in to Nexus, you are automatically taken to the following page displaying the most recent events in the game.

Only the sections that have new information are displayed. In all cases only posts, links, notifications and news for groups you have been granted access or open access will be shown here.

In the below image Forum Posts is at the top, though if there were any Notifications, these would be displayed above them.

The latest forum posts are displayed here.

Any new player blogs will also be displayed in this section.

News is displayed on the right. This might be general news - known as Subspace Static, news from the Game Moderators or even new from a group you have been granted access to.

These news items are generally truncated. Clicking on the new will take you to the library page displaying the entire news article.

Library topics are displayed below the Forum Posts. They will only be displayed when they are unlocked. Library posts are normally unlocked once admin work on them has been completed.

Colour Options  [Recruit]

There are many colour templates for Nexus. Even though this tour has been conducted using the black template, you can select another. The template can be set in Personal-Profile.

When you log in again the setting are remembered.

Gold is popular as it is much easier on the eye and monitor reflection is less noticeable.

Far be it for us to condone playing Phoenix during work hours, but some of our players use the blue template on account of it looking like a typical business forum.

Three Flagritz walk into a bar.

Everybody is brutally subjugated.

Time for news.

What is more fun than nailing a Wimble to a wall?

Tearing it off again.

Not that it means much nowadays but we have moved from KJC Towers, though technically Phoenix moved five months ago

What looks worried and taps on glass?

A Wimble in a microwave.

What is white and red and goes round and round?

A meatsack in Kang’s family-sized blender.

Welcome to another edition of news and views from the CSNN's favourite reporter and news anchor, Ainsley Moore, the peripheries' most favourite unbiased publication in the known universe,

We have been off air for some time relocating our HQ within the Inner Caliphate, after recent hostile acts within the Darkfold region.....

And so with the news,

Once upon a time in a land far far away, Kang brutally slaughtered you all.

Here is the news.

Kang is very pleased to hear reports of how many of Kang’s devoted readers are cheerfully embracing Xenophagy, so much so that Kang hears an exciting season of Great Peripheries Sentients Bake Off has been commissioned, tune in every week for new and exciting methods of baking your irritating neighbours into a range of exciting pies and pastries.

What’s the difference between a Surveyor class cruiser and a pile of dead Wimbles?

Kang does not have a Surveyor class cruiser parked in his garage.

***** The Kang Recruitment Interviews #1 – The DNA *****

Kang begins his strange and brutal journey to the heart of the Peripheries organisations by stopping off to interview the erstwhile leader of the puny ‘Democratic Naplian Alliance’.

Who are these Naplians you may well ask? And what is this wretched ‘democracy’ thing?

The answer is ‘inferior’, but Kang has agreed to set about this endeavour, so Kang will see it through to completion, one way or another.

Kang thinks most meatsacks are like Slinkies, not really good for anything, but you still can’t help but smile when you see one tumble down some stairs.
