Kang has literally not been this excited for months. The tedious Detinus Senate acted with surprising haste and released the following press release regarding the incident: DTR Press Release. Confederates And Allies Begin Weapon Of Mass Destruction Bombardment. Today is a dark day in humanities history. A warfleet consisting of the GTT, FET, CIA and BHD has entered orbit of Mktkl in the Kastor system and opened fire with Weapons Of Mass Destruction against positions located on the surface of the planet below. It is too early to assess civilian casualties. Though there are understood to be populations of both humans and flagritz living close to the facility under fire. The use of WoMD for orbital bombardment has long been a red-line nobody in the Peripheries has been prepared to cross. Kang always suspected these pathetic Empire meatsacks clung to their Tau Ceti agreement not to use WoMD on planetary surfaces simply because they hadn’t had the opportunity to do so lately. Superior races such as the glorious Flagritz understand well the value of drilling through glass. Kang congratulates you, brutal Empire forces! And Kang wishes you many more terror attacks against civilian populations. Kang suggests picking a planet with a larger population next time. If Kang is not so bold, may he simply say one word? Earth. NUKE IT! NUKE IT NOW! *** DOM Smashed *** It seems the EMP action in Kastor against the tedious DTR has caught up a number of Dominion vessels in the process. Six Dominion vessels appear to have been reduced to debris. Kang is unable to confirm if they were caught in the annihilating blasts of anti-matter unleashed by the Confederates, but Kang certainly hopes this is the case. *** BHD Join The Attack *** The long-standing state of neutrality between the BHD and DTR has been smashed today, as the BHD sent a large squadron of 200 hulled warships to join in the general pounding from orbit of the Detinus base. *** Persian Skirmishes *** The Ulian/Flagritz conflict in the Persian system appears to have fallen quiet this week. Kang is thrilled by this news, and hopes you are thrilled too. *** Civilians Declared Illegal In EMP Space *** The Imperial Authorities have taken the amusing step of declaring all CIV assets inside their borders to be illegal and subject to immediate confiscation: “All CIV bases within Imperial space must therefore be deemed illegal in themselves and subject to immediate confiscation under Viceregal authority. Confiscation notice has been issued against all CIV positions in Titan (132).” Kang wonders how the civilians will feel about this? *** Falconian Newsreel *** Outer Capellan News The former AFT base Free trader Stronghold has been gifted to the newly active Wimble Nation as a much needed shipbuilding facility. It is anticipated that AFT ships docked there may well take the opportunity to serve with the Wimbles. Inner Empire News A falconian vessel has been dispatched to recover FCN survivors from the recent retirement of the TCA vessels in Ross system. They are being accomodated at the GTT Da Beers base nearby and are reported to be re-coop-erating well. Warflocks have gathered for rearming, refitting and resupply prior to leaving the inner empire. Darkfold News HLQ debris has been detected in the Kastor system. *** Scavenger Hunt Nears Resolution *** The finale of the long-running Scavenger hunt is reaching its climax as Kang hunts down slaves in his garden and executes them brutally. Elsewhere, another scavenger hunt is being resolved as a race is declared between the two competitors tied for the lead to see who claims the win. A vile meatsack belonging to the FET is one competitors, whilst the other is some other vile meatsack from the Brutal Kitten Slaughterers.
