Order Editor This new order editor has two new features. These are the parser and the system viewer. Parser The parser is used to scan text files such as turns and import
this data into the editor's database. The data scanned includes items, system
data and positions. Both can be found on the database menu. To use the parser click the browse button and select the file you wish to scan. Once you have selected the specified file, run the parser (button at bottom). This will result in new data being displayed in blue. Use the add to data button. To test, start with yank.txt which exists in the same directory as the order editor (this was unzipped at the same time as the download). Data regarding the Yank system has now been incorporated into your editor. Systems This displays all system maps and planet maps for systems which you have incorporated into your data through the use of the parser. If you have successfully run the parser on Yank.txt you will be able to select Yank. When viewing Yank you will also be able to select individual planets to view as well.
